With how many resources those take and how fast they're produced, did you ever need more than one though?

I usually just ended up crafting them myself, as assigning workers to right lines would've taken more time. *shrug*

On standard dedicated servers, Giga Spheres already take so long to craft that I'd never touch them myself.

Well considering how far I am in the game it really cuts down the time when I'm out and about or even in base.
Trust me you are gonna enjoy the assembly lines as long as you got High Handiwork pals and Artisan or Work Slave traits.

If a player doesn't invest in any stat bonuses on work speed, They're going to depend heavily on pal's to cover up their downside, And that limitation on 1 pal per bench is quite limiting depending on how far up the tree that item is.

It's about crafting them, not using them.
