Capture humans.
I don't know if it's just me, but humans should be able to do all the tasks instead of just handiwork since they are humans like the players. Kindling, Planting, Lumbering, Medicine Production, Transporting, mining, and farming, and why can't I pick them up so I can place them in a place to protect?

I would go around capturing a lot of humans just to role play myself as the new evil boss.

because much like a lot of people around these days they probably not educated enough specially given that pals have supposedly murdered entire cities
Well, maybe not all tasks.

All tasks that you as the player can do they should have at least level 1 in.
Then the ones with special weapons like the flame thrower can do kindling.

I like that aspect as well making yourself the villain. Instead of the good guy here. I even use them in my camp "doing nothing" and use them as pets. Shame you can not train them. Learn new skills or so. Looking forward to adding that as well.

what you need to do is fuse humans up to the max level
IIRC its 4 - 16 - 64 - 256 = 341 total humans captured to max one out

then you'll see just how op they really are

so basically humans can breathe fire, and use a bellows without a bellows? let me guess humans can freeze things too other than their brains with a slushie or the use of a freezer, also humans can breed with animals and make new pals. let me guess the farm area what can a human do there? produce sperm and or breast milk? a human can create electricity to power powered stations as well?

lets be real, a human shouldn't be able to do any of those things mentioned. and if the (workstations) were fitted for humans then it would ruin the whole idea of your base being a pal ran settlement. humans shouldn't even be capturable imho.

think about how this game works and what the name is. humans shouldn't be able to do anything on your settlement let alone be captured with spheres.

you can place sandbags so they protect an area they just wont use their guns or weapons if they had them. the only skill humans have as a pal is punch so unless you're willing to give them a skill fruit you're stuck with making the mounted defenses

i honestly think its a glitch and we arent intended to catch them

it actually goes 4 -> 16 -> 32 -> 64 for a total of 117

Your player as a character can do most tasks this implies that you yourself as a playable character has at least level 1 in all the tasks the player can do. So gathering, transporting, kindling (for cooking), planting, crafting (items and medicine), watering, mining and lumbering. It would be fair to assume this, sadly its just not the case.

I expect at some point there will just be mods to do all of the depraved things that you want.

I think the fact that we can catch and treat humans like every other animal is beautifully absurd and the game would be lesser without it.

What I think should be possible for captured and enslaved humans is, that they can build, carry stuff and cook like your character. They should need a bed and not a pal-straw pit.
The rest should be like they behaved previously.
But, everyone should get a traid like 'depressed' or something like that, because humans won't be happy as slave. Pals are more or less pets and there intelligence isn't that high, so you can have happy little pal-slaves...

..maybe it would be possible to differ between good and bad NPC humans, so if you capture them you get rewards like headhunters or become a criminal by yourself without the possibility to trade with normals anymore.

you can give them new skills with skillfruits...sadly this softlocks them to where they never attack again and just run in circles.

The humans only having handiwork is kind of covinient now that I have assembly Lines. I like some variety in the pals of my base so it's not the most optimal. The humans guarantee that when I queue a bunch of crafts they actually get done

so none off u started human trafficking with the black marketer and it shows
