Lost My Savedata

Hello, I just playing Palworld for mere 120 mins, I barely leveled up to level 8 and got my squadron full of Daedreams. Suddenly, power outtage make my pc shutdown and when I went back to Palworld again my savegame (and my world, ofc) is gone. I've already followed the instructions that dev gives us through "News" about how to overwrite the old backup file. But, I did it with little to no avail. Is there anyone who know the fix to this matter? Thank you

Just start again? your really not that far in. And in the time it would take you to run a data recovery for a possible attempt at retrieving an intact save file, you could of just been enjoying the game and have gotten back to where you were before.

I know it's easy to start again because I'm not progressing much since it's been early game. However, what if this specific issue occurred again in the future? Need a fix to prevent us lost our savefile forever

I found my savefile btw, in C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\Pal\Saved\SaveGames\76561198212174535\13746C5044EEBE6133762984BEF7AD5F\backup\local

I followed the instructions to copy .sav data in specific backup time and paste it in SaveGames folder, still, my world and my progress won't show up

I mean you had a power outage, if you want to prevent file corruption due to power outages, buy a generator, or backup power supply. This has nothing to do with the game. Has to do with your computer not being able to retain temporary data after a power outage.

is your steam cloud on? if so you may need to replace the steam cloud save

I have my Steam Cloud on, but it seems not restoring my world automatically

I understand using UPS to prevent my pc being shut down while playing, but the dev just announcing that this is a bug

Nevermind guys. I forgot to copy paste Level.sav and LevelMeta.sav to SaveGames folder. When I did that, my world just restored. Haha, silly me.
