Grappling Gun sucks, worthless.

Too short range, even on Mega Grappling Gun.

Best use is for carrying a crap load of stuff. Grapple is unaffected by encumbrance.

That's what I wanted to use it for but I can't even move with it. Shooting the ground leaves me in place, and shooting anywhere that's not wood doesn't move me at all. Also, just has such short range.

Direhowl is much better, or you know, just use five king pacas for 500 extra carry weight.

Not to mention the stupid cooldown on the shots.

I didn't even think about switching weapons. I press "Slide" to un-grapple.

Let me guess, it goes 1 centimeter further than the "mega" grappler? The tools and bloody arrows in this game all requiring different crossbows to fire is wall punchingly bad game design.
