Ore mining bases

Saw a few videos on how to make an optimal Ore mining base but why go through the effort of doing that if the Pals don't mine ore while your off doing anything els?

I have 2 Pal boxes in two node clusters.
I got into a habit of just putting 5 digtoise in my party then cycling through them as their special spin move depletes. way faster then any thing els

is it just me doing this? has anyone els figured this out?

You need transport for the ore. Turtles cannot carry anything and i seen a useless streamer base or 2 already with too much mining capability no dedicated transport to get the Ore into a chest before it despawns.

9k iron ore and coal in my chest every 3 day or so for me.

Dedicated transports stop derping around. although i enjoy seeing the dumb expression on some streamers when they open the chest and see 30 ore.

I don't use the turtles either they are bad.

they work normal if you're close, but stop doing ♥♥♥♥ if you're away. so just afk while close to them.

make sure you have the right clothing equipped to survive day and night, and have proper defenses. backup your save or even turn off raids before doing this if you feel like you have to.

edit: I have my copper ore mining base at -250 -460

Yeah leaving pc on is silly... no game should need to leave your pc on. This is not a solution or clever... I have a 4090 I ain't leaving my pc on.

Then up your gather rates lol
If your in single player and you hate the gather grind use the settings givin to you to find the balance you need. its your game no one is gonna judge you and making things faster for the sake of your sanity isnt cheating.

Actually mining base works, a dedicated base just mine congregated ores - nothing else.

My 1st base kinda is logging base as well purely because there's ~20 trees in base zone and sometimes pals get stuck they just went offrail and destroy all trees then back to normal work routine loool

The b est transport is putting the stations near the palbox at other bases and a box at your main. All i do is empty my whatever amount no matter how much weight turn around fast travel and turn drop into boxes.

You may also drop entire stacks turn pickup and repeat its faster then trying to teleport 100 times with perfect capacity and as long as its in a box at base you can use it.
