Also idealy a mining base has no other jobs avaible for pals besides some berry fields (even they are not needed, but then you have to constantly supply food yourself)
Yeah astegon is large boy lol altough at my mining base there is only ore and Coal, I placed little chairs to stop tree spawns, no foundations or anything. But I only suggest them if you want constant mining as they are dark, anubis if you have any pathing issues 100% better if late game.
My early game was Dumud, and then tomcats.
This is true I recommend either of the wyvrns as solid choices lvl 3 hauler and dark so no sleep :p
You logged out. There is your problem. All pals stop working if you log out.
Even on servers, if no one is rendering them they stop pathing.
edit: i've retested a game where i don't even render the base at all, i.e. i didn't even fast travel nor travel to it after i start the game, just afking in the base at the starting location.
even without causing the base to render, it was able to finish the batch of 20ingots that i previously cleared and queued up specifically for this test.
i set up the test by clearing the ingots and starting the new ingots batch at the anubis coal mines, i returned to my starter base location and exited the save and then exited the game entirely.
i would then restart the game and afk at my starter base for about >10minutes and then came back to check, viola the ingots got finished.
Sorry to disappoint you but your test was completely useless: no one has talked about anything else but ore mining.
Everything else works fine probably because they've been programmed to work passively if you have a valid pokemon and building.
Oh and btw I have 32gb of RAM.. ~20gb free most of the time.
Having PALs whose only usable skill is mining in that base tends to significantly increase productivity due to them not getting distracted.
Just make sure you keep the food pile stocked.
i emptied the box and picked up every ore that was left from the ore node (it was already mined) as the setup, literally just sat in base for 20 minutes after i restarted my game.
