Are large pal beds worth it/needed?

Just unlocked it and oh boy they are massive... Are they even worth it honestly? I know it says it makes big pals more comfortable, but they take up so much space and Idk which pals would even need it

I am pretty sure the better beds will give the Pals more comfort, witch in turn will help their sanity meter (altho this is just a theory of mine).

They do, just didn't know if big beds would be worth it since they are so big, but I caved and ended up giving them all it lol

Idk honestly just build 1 or 2 just in case if you use giant pals.

I've noticed bigger pals will sleep on the ground even with enough smaller beds in the base, so I'm pretty sure they don't actually benefit from those at all. Build some large beds if you're housing large workers. You probably won't need them to keep everything happy otherwise.

I do have some giant pals sleeping on mine, it's kinda glitchy i suppose and maybe pathing might be the problem.

It could be, though my base is open-air with 2-foundation-wide paths to and from the bed stack, so I'm not sure that's the issue. Since building two large beds in the base, pals that were sleeping on the spot have started taking beds... I haven't noticed them using them otherwise. Might be buggy behaviour on my client.

i throw chickens off the cliffside of my base to starve to death everytime they refuse to do their jobs. lay eggs. laziness will not be tolerated. i will have no useless eaters in my camp. i made a plank to throw them off of and everything. its a whole spectacle so their friends know what happens to slackers.

I hope you're sending them off right with a high quality plank at least!

And if you think about it, instead of using a certain butchering tool, you're helping the slacker chickens fulfill their dreams of flight as a last request. Good on you!

I think they are supposed to give added comfort but probably don't right now. You'd have to check the sanity of 2 or more that were using the basic junk pallets against ones that were using the large beds and see. Before and after sleeping.
