I don't doubt it, but somehow it just feels better to have monsters doing that for you.
I personally wouldn't have even added guns, just bows/crossbows.
It made sense in Ark, but feels out of place in this game.
Still fun though.
Perhaps on my next play through, I'll make a Rambo too.
And as for why?
I am not doing +10 back and forth hauls for just ~80 ores, when I can carry the entire stock of the desecrated church's ore supply with me in one go back to my factory base, same with coal, sulfur, etc, bring back as much as I can with one run and turn those into bullets asap for more dakka.
As for working speed, I am not wasting pal souls on pals being faster at work, I am making them hard hitting damage sponges, as they are the primary damage dealers/takers for me.
I would add stamina, however I have no need to dodge, and stamina doesn't increase the avatar's max food value, which would make it far more valuable investment outside of combat activities.
I just fly where I am needed with the Nitewing (Swift ^^^ passive bonus), not as fast as direhowl is, but I value bird's eye vision over the map to spot effigies and chests over traverse speed.
I also have 5 pals with the motivational leader perk, stacking work speed bonus of 25% per pal, same with mining and logging, highly efficient set up for resource trips and crafts.
my pals do more damage and craft better then i ever could. I only attack pals to notch of health in small increments for capture and i refuse to hold the f key even for a second to craft anything.
if i go mining 1 use one mount(direwalf in my case) and 4 pals that increase my weight by 200(makes it 500 - more than enough)
and all stamina because everything needs stamina
especialy because of mining and climbing hills but i can also swim very well with it
with the collars u can have more than 1 pal out(in my case right now 4(including the mount)
i have more problem not to kill than to kill right now
i dont see a point in the other stats beside stamina
Lmao. Is there even a point in spending points on that?
HP for obvious reasons. Try to keep it around same level as the second or third highest in your party (and keep your party at same level as you). If you get 1- or 2-shot, battle is lost. You can rotate your pals, but not yourself. Shield is very useful against a burst damage, but even the T2 shield only has like 230 points.
Stamina mainly for running and climbing. But to mine ore you need stamina.
Probably carry weight will have more prio later, right now I'm at around 500 capacity.
I don't level up the attack (put 1 level maybe?) so I can be a little bit more precise when bringing down pals to low HP before capturing them, but I might just be bad at minmaxing :)
I think I have 0 point in work speed, let the slaves... I mean pals... do the heavy lifting.
Otherwise... Stamina Carry?
Stamina seems like a wasted stat, but really helps with you do manual grinding.
HP on the other hand mean you can just stay in fights and be annoying chip damage while your Pals are doing burst.
Armor and equipment already gives you enough defense and health once you get your base health around 800-1000 so no need to overkill it. Use dodge if it gets too bad.
