Game keeps freezing/crashing via spiking memory RAM at random intervals. Anyone else?
My game keeps freezing at random intervals, usually during saving, where it spikes in RAM usage before freezing the game, forcing me to close the game via Task Manager. It's deeply annoying given how frequently the game straight-up crashes for me, and I'm wondering if it's either on my end or an issue other people are dealing with.

Help?

Is there some sort of windows 10 compatibility option you can put on the .exe? Everything up to date? Verify the files in steam?

that bottleneck though

Turns out the servers defintily have a memory leak bug. If your playing single player your probably running a local server in the background for that single player game. I havent experienced any memory related issues on multiplayer, maybe becuase someone else is running the server.

Try mutiplayer and see if that changes anything for you

i was looking at the CPU/GPU combo.
it is very reasonable as long as the GPU gets stressed and not the CPU but in general tasks, the CPU will lag behind what that GPU can handle.

Your right i looked at the stats for his cpu and its not super great, just 35% faster benchmark than my 2012 i7 3770.
That said though he should be alright still, i have a 3060, and am running Palworld on Linux adding a little more overhead on the program too.

If hes playing single player its probably running a leaky local server in the background. The servers definitly have a memory leak right now.

Graphically the game's totally fine for me. I can run on maximum setting with over 60FPS+ on average. I do think it's moreso the leaky local server.

Though wait, there's a local server on singleplayer? I have multiplayer enabled, so that may be why.

I tried it while disabling multiplayer. It ran slightly better before it crashed as well, and it happened every time it tried to save.

A friend of mine was having that problem and freeing up some space on his SSD (he had only 20gb free when the game kept crashing) solved the problem. Do you think this might also apply to you?

Nope, we're pretty hefty on space. Unless an SSD is something different?

Having the exact same problem and if I go into a dungeon, its guaranteed (although I speed ran one and somehow got through). I have tried every setting possible on a single player world so idk what can help.......
