Cold Armor not working?

So i'm currently wearing the "Cold Resistant Pelt Armor" and i before i was in the snow perfectly fine, at some point it randomly decided to just start damaging me and now regardless of what armor i wear i seem to just die by the cold non-stop

Not sure if its a glitch or something im overlooking but i figured with the underwear + CR Pelt Armor that i would've been okay but i guess not?

Cold armour does work but it does not provide 100% cold resistance, you will also need cold resistant underwear for maximum resistance. Temperatures also drop a level or more during night time. There is a temperature meter in the bottom left corner.

Yeah i have the underwear but i guess maybe pelt armor just isn't good enough, i think it may also have been night so that was probably the deciding factor
