Too much grind
feel like I spend 80% of playtime crafting balls and ammo so i can "play the game" for an hour

the amount of effigies you need is too high

the amount of pals you need to infuse power is way too high

the mid/late game is just kind of lame.

I literally dont have a single issue with any of what you mentioned. How about you start looking at your pals and base and build them correctly?

Vixy in your Ranch poops out Palspheres for free.

You're welcome.

No issues with anything you are describing.

Effigies are easy to find at night. Just fly around and grab them.

Ammo and spheres drop from enemies and on the ground. Hardest part of crafting is the ore but even that is easier once you have more than one base going.

Amount of pals for infusion is fine.

The game is meant to be a grind. It’s not supposed to be easy. Swear people these days want to 100% a game within a week of release.

I would like an option to reduce the number of pals it takes to infuse.

I mean right now it's 117 pals. That is insane for a SINGLE pal. I mean if you want a full base of 5 star pals then you are looking at 1755 pals. This isn't even considering the breeding and RNG of abilities to get to the point where you'd have a pal that you even want to max out to 4 stars.

Aside from that.. I like the pace of the game.
I've gotta agree. Once you start needing like 10 ultra spheres per normal enemy, the ratio of grind to play gets kinda stupid. The effigies don't do enough either.

I agree. I have no problems finding balls. In fact, I hardly have ever had to craft any. Effigies are everywhere! Never have a problem finding those.

Some of us have 1000s of hours in survival games. Can take years

What do you suggest for long term goals of playing the game if infusion is changed?

Yeah the basic ones, get like 2 Vixy's in there and each time you come back to base from exploring you'll have 20-30 waiting for you on the floor. Kinda wish I could get them to poop out megaspheres thou.

Pal infusing is meant to be a endgame thing, when you don't have much else to do.

It's weird it skips over 8. Like, if it went 4/8/16/32 that'd already be so much better even if it's still 60. Also something that I find dumb is that previously condensed pals still only count as one instead of the amount they've had condensed so it feels like a complete waste of resources to star anything beyond maybe 1* before you perfectly breed it so it just feels like a system I won't use until I'm level 50 and have captured legendary pals to transfer their unique traits.

If I could pump like say 20 pals into an anubis that I have about 20 of from breeding and then swap those 2*s to a new perfect anubis later on by condensing it into the new one, that'd make the system way better IMO.

What? I watched a guy who said on stream it took 20 hours for him to get a pal with the stats he wanted and get it to star lvl 2. ONE pal and only lvl 2. If you cut the pals needed for infusion in half and the time for the rest of the process you would still have 10+ hours of work per pal.. trust me.. you will still get your hundreds of hours.

All I'm saying is give us an option.. give me choices that I can make and change my game and play how I want. If you think collecting/breeding ONE HUNDRED and SIXTEEN pals to level up a single pal is ok and totally fun and enjoyable then good for you.. I personally do not think that is fun "game-play"

100% this would be awesome.

That would be pretty good if you could condense a already Starred Pal into a new pal and it'll carry over the star. Would allow you to be more free with Starring other pals.

Grind is part of any game. It is actually the gameplay. Gameplay is a grind, keep repeating the game mechanics over and over again. As long as it's rewarding, grind for me is okay, but imo the game needs more setting/sliders that can be customized so people can adjust to suit their playstyle/tolerance. Like I hate "dropping inventory on death" mechanic and I can turn it off, that alone makes me love the game already. Just because it's used in many similar games doesn't mean that should be a staple.

You can also breed the pals, but yea I agree, imo it should be 4/8/16/32 and not 4/16/32/64.

And a higher star should worth the amount of pals used to condense it. So it's not wasted. Like if I find a better pal than my 4 star, then damn, I have to redo all over again, and it's just one pal.
