Can vegans play this game?

As a vegan myself i'm a bit worried after reading some post here on steam so......

About 90% of the food in the game is meat from killing random mons (and butchering your own ones), if that's what you mean. Berries and mushrooms are entry-level, and I wouldn't consider this playable if you only stick to those.

There's meat you can collect in this game, so no don't play this game or you'll be a born again meat eater and that's what you don't want.
