Is there any benefit to higher level cooling ability?
I'm starting to get into tiers with critters that have level 2 or more cooling, and trying to figure out if there's any purpose for that. All of the cooling jobs seem to be purely binary, on or off, and there's nothing "efficiency" would do at any of them.

Just use a Vanwyrm Cryst and assign it to the fridge, this Pal works 24/7 because he doesn‘t need to sleep at night, so the only time your cooling will stop is when he‘s getting himself something to eat, so better not feeding them raw or baked berries because then he will permanently run between the bowl and the fridge give you pals proper food and they will work longer (and harder) until they get hungry again, and the shorter the distance between bowl and fridge the better!
didnt know you could assign pals too the fridge..so thats neat an good info, i'll definately doo that, i was the one doing it lol, save me some time

Yes! The cooling level corresponds to how cool they can keep you. (I think it directly corresponds with the "cooling level" stat in the tooltip of armors.) If you have a level 1 cooling pal in your team and you throw them out while exploring the desert area, they will keep you cool if you do not have appropriate clothing. A Pengullet would work for this as an example. However, the volcano is much hotter, so you might try a Sweepa, with a coollng level of 2. There seems to be no effect on the spoil time of items in the refrigerator no matter the cooling level of the pal. Cute little Jolthog Crysts or Pengullets will do the trick. Hope this answers what you're actually asking!
Omg thats so cool
I praise you.
