Pal Passives, does the pal need to be pulled out?
I'm assuming the Pal needs to be out, but does anyone know for sure? Or can they be simply in your party but not active?

Edit: The specific one I'm talking about. I got a PAL with 2 passives, Vanguard, and Mining Foreman.

Vanguard: Gives player attack +10%

Mining Foreman: Increases Player mining by 25%

It doesn't really say whether its "in party" or "fighting" or out or anything.

All passive that say they effect the player work while the pal is a party member.
You don't need them out or in the first slot or on the "standby".

Passive effects stack.

Effects that increase stats can be seen from a tooltip in the Inventory under your stats by hovering the stat.

I always assumed it just needs to be in your party.
some say they just need to be in party but if one says it benefits the player (like adding fire to your attacks) then it needs to be sent out to fight with you
It should say, "when in your party" or "when fighting with you".

Some are full passive while some work only when summoned.

That's not a passive. That's the Partner Skill.
The manatee thing let's you glide so long as it's in your party.

Not sure about the rest

Wait so if you have 5 mining formans youd get all the stack bonus from all 5?

Yes.

You don't need to take them out.

Mining/Wood efficiency, Vanguard and Stronghold Strategist. Work this way.
