Elden Ring
Is it just me or does the world of this game have an Elden Ring vibe, there's even a big tree, they seem to have been inspired by Elden Ring, as well as Pokémon and Zelda, I'm already in contact with FromSoftware, we are preparing the process with Nintendo, brace yourselves

I noticed that, I saw that they were inspired by Elden Ring before I saw the tree

Yeah that first ruin with the guy camping near it is pretty obviously meant to look like the first church you see in Limgrave, near the Forest Sentinel (like the Mammoth in here as the equivalent early high-level enemy).

The thing is, you could look at a lot of stuff in this game and go "oh it's a coincidence, it just happens to look almost exactly like that" but when it happens over and over it kinda loses that justification. The world is really like 85% ER, 10% BOTW, and 5% Xenoblade (mostly the rock formations).

If people don't mind that, fine, I guess. Lies of P was basically the same way, it was just a mishmash of Souls games haphazardly strung together, but people loved it.

What's wrong with taking inspiration off of something?

Well, the whole world tree thing is based on mythology which both games are likely borrowing from. But I think get what you mean about the landscape. There's this whole empty land with strange structures and seems to have a history behind it but everyone's gone and while the pals seem cute and harmless... some of them are pretty strong.

You ever see an Incineram wipe a whole camp of syndicates without breaking a sweat? I have. It makes me think: "Oh okay, I get it now, yeah these things are terrifying to normal humans, I just happen to be superhuman apparently."
Almost every fantasy game has some sort of Great Tree somewhere.

Zelda, Elden Ring, Skyrim, Ect.

Shame you cant go to the tree. You can get right up to the shore line of it. Then it becomes a death barrier. Might have its own content later. Would be neat.

The developer likes to mash together different things that they found fun/inspiring/interesting. Their other game, which is still being worked on by a different team, draws heavy art inspiration from Zelda BotW / TotK.

This game has monster catching mashed with open world survival crafters such as ARK. I'm sure there are other inspirations that aren't as noticeable.

There isn't anything wrong with taking what you like and putting a twist on them. There's a reason rogue-like is a genre, Doom clones are now called First Person Shooters, and Vampire Survivors exists.

I mean the oldest myths also includes big ass trees. Yggdrasil the World Tree is basically standard fantasy trope in many fantasy games.

Yggdrasil is from the mythology of the Norse. Elden Ring doesn't own it, or any of the many games that have referenced it before.

I didn't say there was a problem, for me they could have copied the pokemons, I don't care

Is there an enormous piss colored tree in the background?

The big tree's design is likely inspired by the gingko tree that japan has in the real world.
