If you are into creature capturing and taming as well as survival crafting and base building then yes it's good if you don't like these 2 types of games then no it wont be good for you.

Game is okay. If you like Pokemon you'll like Palworld. Its a decent "Im bored theres nothing else to play" type game.

Its mostly running on hype right now.

I'd say get it on Gamepass if you can, don't spend money on it.

I think it's a bit of a psyop. This kind of popularity for this kind of game seems very inorganic.
The game really is kind of shallow in a lot of ways, and also the building system is laughably bad.

Plus it's optimized so badly that people are literally questioning if it's mining for crypto in the background. I don't think it is, but seeing my GPU hitting 112C definitely does raise my eyebrows.

I feel Palworld served up obvious controversy with it's statements like "no labour laws, guns" it's putting those in to stir controversy and control it. It's a known advertising tactic and sort of lame because.....

The game's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good! The advertised controversial elements are much more muted and I'm enjoying it. This is aside from wether or not it is breaking copyright, it might be, I don't know and so far it seems it hasnt.

To be honest my expectations were pretty low, and while it's not like, the end all be all of gaming, the mechanics are solid and the flavor text is funny and self-aware.

It's probably the only survival game that I didn't get bored of from grind hell after a couple hours, but it's so relaxing it makes me sleepy.

For some reason my potato runs is very well on highest, but the amount of monsters in the environment has to be at the lowest. If the game is at it's lowest settings on my pc it still chuggs if I go above the minimum default amount of roaming pals.

It's actually quite fun and engaging. If you liked Legends Arceus and/or Ark you should try it
