Well Bob, let's explain it all to you.
Pokemon is actually a child-friendly knock off of Shin Megami Tensei that invented this kind of game. That is a game where it directly let's you make deals with, and command, all manner of demons. Traditionally angels are portrayed as being in bondage gear to show their submission, there are Incubi who are portrayed as flying imps with penises as big as their body, and of course Succubi, and the most famous of all "Mara" a giant penis who rolls around in a chariot cracking an S&M whip at people. You can verify this.
The thing is though that kind of thing didn't make enough penetration so Pokemon was created as a child friendly version with bright, colorful, friendly graphics, more of an international release, and of course the elements you mention. Of course it's more subtle than that as you notice in Pokemon the protagonist is almost always a child with an absurd amount of independence, a mother, and no father figure. You might infer some kind of Oedipus complex from that, and you'd be correct. that said certain kinds of incest themes had to be kept under the radar, but if you look at how submissive the mother is always portrayed, the position of bedposts in some of the art, and similar things, you can subtly infer certain things. The lack of truly fat or unattractive women should also be noted, and that is a message about the primary use of women conveyed through the game.
Beyond that, you will notice how medical care for the pocket demons is free, and how thing seem to work on the Devil's own form of government: socialism. This is done to convince children that this could work, so as well as showing they do not need their male parents, likewise society should only exist to serve the individual and nobody should have to contribute anything besides running around following their dreams. For generations you see things have been being engineered to condition kids this way, with Pokemon being a key tool. "Do as thou wilt" so to speak, and of course we don't make pretensions of the "harm none" part because well... it's about a game about forcing people to fight to the death in blood sports. Little do the children realize it will be the monsters forcing them into the arenas later, and only the true elite at Nintendo will be in any kind of position to do as they want, but hey.... it's an amazing propaganda tool right? Far more subtle and effective than that SMT thiing.
Also understand the Pokemon Rule 34 out there is no mistake, the game includes carefully designed subliminals, and special mind-altering tones when the Pokemon audio files are played. This is to condition developing minds to crave the attention of animals sexually, as much as people, and of course expand their sex drives. All of this has contributed over the last generation or two to the creation of public porn via things like Porn tube, the rising amounts of homosexuals, and of course the devil's own vanguard: furries. The end goal being the pornographic Pokemon furries who say have gay or lesbian sex while in Mew costumes or whatever. Few other things are obviously more profane, yet as you've seen, tens of thousands of children grew up to put on fur suits, having long ago turned away from god, education, and any pretensions of normality... actually embracing such identities as opposed to seeing themselves as mentally ill and seeking help.
To be fair though Bob, don't despair, you might earn some mercy. Get online, join The Satanic Church Of America, bow before the statues of Baphomet appearing in state capitols (Iowa was the first), and gleefully support your children's development. In the end you might get pulled out of the lake of fire once in a while to mix up the torture a bit, and this is the best you and your children can hope for, as now that Pokemon has altered their brain chemistry they will never be normal, and if nothing else as soon as they turn 18 they will run right out to buy the game or an imitator like Palworld... a real master stroke as it militarizes them with guns to overthrow the establishment. Most games won't turn kids into killers... but well... we have faith in this one.
So yes Bob, where once games had wholesome messages about fighting demons... Doom as a true threat, we have found all we have had to do is make them cute and we can do far more. Tell me what is more profane, a giant flaming demon being shot at, or your daughter playing a silly little game that inspires her to wear buttless chaps and a cartoon monster hood and make her first sexual experience anal? The Devil's Orfice as you know. We have already won.... so join us.... buy multiple copies, play yourself, and one day perhaps dance in the flames of your church as your spiritual leaders die with a Palworld Plushie taped in their mouth.
.... or I could just be BSing back, and the game is just basically a silly monster collector blended with other hunting and surivival games, and things like Pokemon and it's ilk have been positive in society. Probably hard to tell at this point, but I think I'm a funnier edgelord. :)
And this, class, is what we call the "Special pleading" argument.
Where you define the subject in a way that if you accept the premise, it cannot be argued against, making an un-falsifiable, un-testable, loop of circular logic. And if you don't accept the premise, they can instantly reject anything you say, because they can't conceive of the notion of thinking outside that premise.
It's not a solid argument, because the moment you use it to rep a deity other than theirs, they will claim it's invalid, and that you're wrong, even if you yourself legitimately believe in what you're saying.
It's a thought-stopping technique. A mental loop-de-loop with nothing actually supporting it.

From my experience, I wouldn't say that there are outright Satanic references or dogwhistles. Gameplay is around resource management of Pals and the Pals themselves have various designs (keep an eye for No. 69). In the game you do have a statue that you use for experience stuff. But I am able to separate the game world and concepts from real life.
In general, I understand that parents have a duty and responsibility to keep their kids away from trouble but you should probably expect a lot of media to have worser affects. My advise would be to see games as fictional works that you can seperate yourself from; I think that should be more of a goal to just see games as games.
Try not to shelter to much, accept that evil exists and have a way to keep to one's faith. 'To be in the world but not of it' I suppose.
But I can only assume that this thread is supposed to be a joke and not meant to be taken seriously.
Still: This is a more unique Jester farming angle compared to all the others that have been posted so far. Good job.
With those groups (especially the human made/temporal ones), the issue is with separating vidya from life (because they're video games at the end of the day). But they feel the need to be validated in their life decisions (or outcomes) everywhere and have the ability to hide behind their oppression status.
The consumer revolt was stupid but the Finders and McMartin school case are pretty disturbing, especially with the latest FOIA published documents.
