egg hatching durations?

just wondering if anyone else is having insanely long hatching durations just put an egg in an incubator and it says i have to wait 72 hours meanwhile everyone ive seen playing on youtube and twitch have only 30 minute max wait for their eggs

longest ive seen with my timer was 1hr but i did turn that setting down since im playing the game solo

all my eggs are over 4+ hours to hatch

My longest so far has also been an hour. Cut down to 30m with a fire barrel nearby to warm it.

What kind of egg was it? Remember where you got it? Also, see if is ant speed debuff due to temperature?

Are you playing on hard? Someone figured out that on hard the timer is 36 times longer than on normal.

My longest so far was a "large verdant egg" with a timer of 17 hours. And that's already with +100% because I got the temperature right near the incubator.

it was between the bridge of the twin knights and Elphiridan on the cliffs

Check your settings.
Normal mode: massive egg is 2 hours
Hard mode: massive egg is 72 hours

If an egg is smaller then it will take less time.
On a side note, has anyone actually seen a "Massive" egg or is it just a weird translation error as on my server we've only see "Huge" eggs which match the server settings for Massive egg time.

I think it comes down to translation differences. I'm pretty sure "huge" eggs and "massive" eggs are the same, just as "lucky" pals and "rare" pals are the same, even though different versions of the game call them different things.

Sounds about right. I just had a memory spark about the fishing minigame in FFXIV where there was a similar translation error that caused issued.
