Effigies - How many to max?

Hoping we don't need to find every one to max catching power as its a massive boost

I just maxed my catch power and can confirm that there are more effigies than required to max.

Nice, by any chance you don't remember how many it took to max did you?

I didn't start tracking required amounts until I was already at 8. It's 31 to upgrade to 9 and 35 to upgrade to 10. That's per level, not running total.

It takes 173 effigies to max out =)

1 from level 0 to 1
+ 4 from level 1 to 2
+ 7 from level 2 to 3
+ 11 from level 3 to 4

+ 19 from level 5 to 6
+ 23 from level 6 to 7
+ 27 from level 7 to 8
+ 31 from level 8 to 9
+ 35 from level 9 to 10

I found a total of 421 in the map, so plenty to go around ^_^

damn im only at 78 left over after getting max power

I temporarely made nighttime last a lot longer and then spent about 1 hour just collecting them all i needed.
