Palworld pal evolution?

Okay so I know it would make it more like pokemon... but then again if game freak were to go after palworld they would too have to after the dozens of pokemon clones out there. So is this a potential thing that happens in this game since it seems some of the pals would have an evolution line, or grow up line since that is what the "Evolution" is, its not like idea of a creature changing is copyrightable ^^;

not exactly... Some of the Pals have variants you can get by breeding certain combinations

Early access, then there are mods I am sure that would do these things, eventually since the bug report I saw reporting a bug with the antique chest set making it build on the floor above showed that they expect this to be modded.

But that is interesting my short 4 hours yesterday saw me unlocking the breeder.

If you look closley, a lot of the creatures in game seem to have 'evolved ' forms which you catch later in the game, they just dont do the gimmiky evolving thing that pokemon do, you need to progress to get them.

Here's a tip for you then... Try breeding the electric hedgehog Pal with water/Ice type Pals; you can get a crystaline variant of that electric hedgehog that way ;)

True, though could suggest they plan for such a system, or some machine to do the evolution with, since there are ancient techs to unlock.

But besides that is waiting for mods to add such.

Personally I don't like evolutions. Evolutions are always stronger than base forms, yet the way they look can either be better or worse. Some pokemon look terrible when they evolve, but if you want to be viable at the endgame, you have to evolve them eventually.

Palworld replaces evolution and legendaries through the soul sacrificing and infusion device. If you put in the time and effort to get enough souls and pals of the same type, you can effectively evolve and make your own legendary by sheer stat enhancement. I think this is great as it means anything that's your favorite design-wise can be made to compete with the best if you put in the effort.

That said, I wouldn't mind non-visual evolutions, such as unlocking new unique abilities for pals by doing something special with them.

Could just be grow up mechnics, Since that is all evolution is, however I do see that it makes sense for there being only set version of it.

As said probably would have to wait for mods if I want it. Though that is... many moon away cause current mod is only a skin change.
