yea been doing that to, havented seen them on the roof yet....better keep an eye on that then
The other issue I've seen constantly is all my transport pals walking on top of the berry plantation to pick up berries, not picking them up for some reason, and then just standing there stuck and starving until I grab the berries myself. Mostly seems to happen in secondary bases but not the primary, despite them all being on perfectly flat ground.
Sometimes they end up outside the walls of my base that surround the perimeter of the boundary as well, meaning, no path to food once again. Had to destroy a few walls and just leave them open because of this.
When working inside the base, it seems pretty bad. When following you in the open, they are pretty dumb as well. Always falling off edges, etc. They seem to follow you with no regard for terrain.
I do hope they change the base pathing, though, they get stuck a lot and need to be recalled often. Or exit and reload the game.
Oh the logging camp is terrible. But the thing that seems to have solved the issues for me was moving my walls WAY out from the base. Turns out they were sort of walking through the logging camp by trying to go behind it and glitching up on top.
Also solved the spawning outside the walls issue I had.
Don't use digitoise for automated mining (it's amazing when it's in your party but terrible outside of it).
When warping to a base see if anyone is hungry, it probably means they are stuck, so just drag them into the box and then back into the base and they'll spawn back unstuck and probably run to eat.
While out traveling you can try and pay attention to the messages and see if anyone is upset/slacking off/hungry. It likely means they got stuck.
