F Pressing

I really like the game, but this one mechanic that you have to hold F all the time when building is really annoying, I mean it's a completely stupid mechanic that you have to press the F button all the time.
Everyone I know, including me, gets round this by clamping the button, but that doesn't have to be the case, why not just click once and run through?

Wholeheartedly agree. My gf and I both have a teaspoon sitting on our desks for wedging in the F key while we go do something else waiting for things to finish crafting or building. Yeah, a macro would be cleaner, but the spoon is funnier

It's really not that much of a problem. I'm already level 50 and its not been an issue, just focus some points into work speed. :)

still though early game your looking at 2 - 5 mins to hold down the button thats just not right and needs to be addressed quickly

Some argue that it's only half as bad, you have pals for it later, but that doesn't change the fact that it's nonsense that you have to hold the button all the time.
Press F, activate build, as long as you keep standing at the workbench the build continues, that's the only way it makes sense, at the beginning you are close to tendonitis until you have level 2-3 pal that builds much faster than you anyway

Hmm. I just started using my mouse and keyboard because combat with the controller was so bad for me. I didn't think about this. I'll probably just grab my controller and use it for the long building stuff, because my left index finger would just fall off! lol

I agree with this. It's the same as holding the button down-- it keeps your character working, but without wrecking your hand.
