Pals keep getting out of enclosed base.

I enclose my base for the purpose of making them contained inside the base at all time to prevent them stuck in the water or height, but some keep getting out and locked out unable to get food or cant get back to work, is there a workaround for this ?

Build in a way that keeps in mind the limitations of the pathfinding and whatever issues you have. Instead of trying to force your way that clearly doesn't work.
