Please don't nerf the Daedream collar
Give us a reason to have it active like aggressive mobs or mobs that steal items from inventory on attack. The latest Zelda has systems allowing your player base to explore and continues to go viral for it. Adjust the game to facilitate the ideas of your player base

I just wish it could be toggled on and off. When you see a nice Pal to tame the big drawback is that they don't stop attacking and they kill the Pal you wanted to tame. The Collar is more bother than it's worth. I never learn that piece of Tech any more.

I doubt there are any plans to nerf this type o item tbh, the worst I could imagine is that it'll drain stamina faster to make it at least remotely balanced lmao

Here's a cheat code just for you: Press 4, then select 'Don't attack'. With this magic trick none of your pals will fight back whether they're sent out or passively supporting you.

Daedream sucks anyways, yall who are crutching on it are doing yourselves a disservice.

Pick one: "Daedream sucks" - "Daedream is a crutch"

You're free to use whichever pals you want, but pals like Daedream aren't meant to be super strong on their own, they're a force multiplier to assist your much stronger main pal.

I don't have to, you're not my dad.

Imo Daedreams tend to fall off at level 20 or so and things like Vanwyrms or Robinquills start being more useful in your squad.

later on in the game its effectiveness is much less, enjoy abusing it for the help while it works, poison and fire damage however..

Dazzi has a necklace that lets it function the same way, AND you can have both Daedream and Dazzi out following you at the same time (with the items) while a different Pal is active. That's teamwork :D

I don't know if they're are anymore that attack with you like that. I know Flopie can stay out but that just lets it collect items for you.

I don't have all the Pals yet, so maybe there is more.

I already know about that, but in the heat of the moment it isn't as easy to do that efficiently on the fly. A simple toggle on or off for Daedreams no matter how many you are using would make them worthwhile.

I simply don't let my pals fight at all if I'm planning to capture a pal unless I desperately need the extra damage, and then I toggle it off when the boss is close to half health, instead of pushing my luck and waiting until they're in a much weaker state. When you give the command pals will still perform attacks they've already committed to, so it's way too easy to overkill a boss by accident.

If you want to capitalize on a shadow synergy setup, get a hoocrates, 2 daedreams, a Felbat and a Vanwyrm. The Felbat and Vanwyrm will be your main dps and the Vanwyrm will also be your flying mount.

It works like that: The Hoocrates is just there to buff all of your shadow pets with it's passive, the 2 Daedreams are your turrets and the Felbat has lifesteal and some juicy darkness aoe attacks later on. You can switch between the Felbat and the Vanwyrm for your combat pets.

I used to play with the Hoocrates-4 Daedream setup until i hit level 25 but it grew boring after a while so i tried to modify it for a more general purpose setup considering the Vanwyrm does both fire and shadow.
Also if you want a big laugh, try to shoot something with a musket while being mounted on a Vanwyrm, it will buff your headshot damage!
