Why so many adults are playing this children game ?

This is a Pegi 12 game with childish graphics and childish elements yet whenever I go to twitch or check out people only adults are playing with this.

My absolutely serious question is: Why? I mean I absolutely don't judge just can't understand why is this game so popular. My young cousin is 13 years old he was very hyped for this game and I can totally get that a youngin is interested in a game like that.
