is there a way to unequip hip lantern/key item?

it's kinda ugly in the night but its nice to have when i go in cave's
so is there a way to get rid of it?

I don't think there is, sadly. I'd like there to be a toggle added, as the yellow glow partly ruins the immersion when traversing through caves. The yellow glow ruins certain visual aspects in my opinion

I wish there was a way to toggle it on or off, the lighting from the lamp is a bit too much during night time, hopefully they'll add a switch for it in the future

Same with the pal upgrades that unlock passive pals like Daedream. Daedream is AMAZING to have during fights, but hell on earth when you go back to base to build, or are trying to explore and capture new pals. That desperately needs a toggle.

Like Rick James suggests. I've been using a foxsparks as illumination. It's not ideal but it definitely beats the weird yellowness of the hip lantern.

I have figured out a work around the Hip Lantern. Revert your Level and LevelMeta files in your save folder from a previous Backup file the game automatically (and thankfully) creates.

Go into inventory click Key Items and the lantern is there you can delete it or drop it
