Does every flying mount needs a saddle?

I got the Nitewing, but I heard its not really fast. And the saddle needs lvl 15 (which isn't the problem). My guess is, that most likely other flying pal saddles are locked behind way higher levels. For the best (fastest) flying pal most likely at the end.
Which flying mount is decent when it comes to flying speed. When do I unlock the saddle? Is there a flying mount which dont need a saddle?
Im currently lvl 16. Any tips which one I should get?

Just get all of them.
And so far, every pal need its own saddle. It is like Ark in that regard.

Every type of Pal needs it's own item usually, also TYPICALLY most mounts are similar, outside of their passives? The wolf is one of the few with a baseline faster travel speed. Other bonuses are purely from good Passives.

Typically you'll pick and choose either on what you like, or how good of a combat Pal it is as well. Lucky Pals are Very Funny mounts too...
