Idea how to transfer dedicated server save to a solo/coop save ?
Do you know how to transfer a save from a dedicated server to a "solo/co-op" save ?

I managed to transfer the world, but I have a problem with the character IDs. I tried to rename my player name folder (from my dedicated server files) "Z515...1F5SD1F.sav" to "00000000...001.sav", but it doesn't work ingame. I have access to the world, but I have to start over with a naked character.

The dedicated server savegame use the real Steam ID for each players (also for the host player) while the solo/coop savegame use "000000...001.sav" for the main/host player (you).

How did you transfer the official World into coop mod, please ?
You need to grab the save of your dedicated server (through FTP or something like that), after you put the save folder into your game save location. Only the world transfer works, not your character.

I have the same problem (strictly the opposite problem).
I tried to transfer a world hosted by a friend to a dedicated server, but when my friend logs into the dedicated server, they are recognized as a new player.
As you can imagine, your friend's character data is "0000...sav", and when you play as a guest, new data (probably tied to your Steam ID) will be generated.

Data migration by renaming character data was also not possible.
It's probably linked to the binary file that exists in the upper folder.

if you are the orginal world host you can transfer map and your friends data but not your own data. Somtings dont work whit that (tryed fix that 2 hours but failed)
