How do you "beat" this game? / What's the end goal?
From what I understand, this game is similar to games like Valheim or Minecraft more than Pokemon, and in those game, you have the a general direction of what you have to do -> which is to beat the bosses for example -> where in the "building" part helps you prepare to beat those bosses..

It's kinda hard to imagine what this game is trying to make you do 😅 are you suppose to beat gym leaders or something? Me and my friends are actually very interested in this, but I also have a tendency to drop games when it's not so clear on what you're supposed to do. I'm also not sure if this is a chill game where I could play it to destress.

The main loop and "fun" draw is the in-between, tbh. Which is the strongest point of all survival crafters - getting from one milestone to the next.

Imagine Valheim, but not a procgen map, and it expects you to find the bosses yourself without markers. The exploration aspect is a big part of the gameplay.

As for stressful, that's down to personal taste, but it's not like you're micromanaging tasks all that much. Pals will automatically do tasks in your base (within their capabilities), so you won't be going to Factorio levels of automation/factory planning to do well.

One bonus, the towers are typically VERY obvious. Usually in their own select regions, some you can see pretty far off, much like the one to the far north.

You DO have to micromanage your Pals, but that's more AI Pathing jank than anything

Alright, clear enough! I'm okay with this 😀also I would like to add that I don't like markers anyway (unless you them yourself like in Valheim). Thanks for the reply!

Last question though.. How long to beat approximately? (As in time it takes for regular people to beat those 5 bosses). You see, the reviews state that this game might not even get finished due the dev's track record with unfinished products. But I guess that's fine if it gives us our money's worth (like how Valheim already paying for itself despite being "unfinished").

Well, obvious landmarks are fine, lol. And that's much better than your minimap just showing you where to go instead of you discovering it for yourself.

Definitely a while, you can PROBABLY beat it pretty quick if you hard focus on just catching everything starting from the easiest up, and rush level cap.

But you can probably sink a decent chunk of time into the game depending on how you play it, finished the first Tower and approx level 25 at about 24h of playtime? Though i've spent a bunch exploring as well

Yo bro, lol. Guess what, after sending my replies here, I opened my friends list and saw a bunch of Steam friends playing this game. One of them already clocked in 70 hours. So I guess that's a good sign 😂
