Setting to change drop on death option..
I've found the setting in the ini file, and have tried changing it from Everything to Nothing and None, neither seems to keep us from dropping our items / pals on death. Does anyone know what the correct word to use is, if we don't want to drop everything on death?

you can use the values

0 = drop nothing
1 = drop inventory (except equipment)
2 = drop everything except pals
3 = drop everything including pals

At least on the self hosted files I have, you can go into cutsom diffculty and deactivate it there.

Sorry, I should have specified, this is for a dedicated server, hosting by a company. I will try changing it from None to 0, and see if that works.

Tried it on mine, doesn't seem to work. Not sure why.

It's in the custom options

Yeah I got it to work with the 0 1 2 3 options on my dedicated steam server, had to go to the file path, should be this unless you changed it C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\PalServer\Pal\Saved\Config\WindowsServer\PalWorldSettings.ini

and in there, find "DeathPenalty= X" and change X to whatever the other comment said

One additional thing to note: There are two .ini files, One is a test only, one is the actual servers .ini file. If it says "Default_____.ini" that's a test file or as you could say a backup file of the default settings. The actual game file settings are deeper in the files and is does not have "Default" in it's name. You shouldn't change the Default one at all and leave that alone, it's a back up file, only change the specific worlds config settings in the save files.
