Just wondering if the inevitable has occurred yet.

Hey how about kindred fates. That game is much more closer to Pokemon gameplay than palworld. I'm definitely looking forward to kindred fates

That'll be tough considering DragonQuest franchise came out 10 years before Pokemon was 'invented'.

wasn't Megami Tensei who created first the concept of monster catching?
Yes and sadly no one seems to know or care about the franchise outside of persona. Hell most people don’t even know that persona is megami tensei in the first place.

Everyone always compares every single monster catching game to Pokémon because they don’t know even know about the original monster catcher, megami tensei.

There's so many that look straight ripped from pokemon. The eevee thing it's almost perfect clone. Not that I care cuz pokemon is boring and I like survival games.

Lmao yea lets see them sue Digimon, DragonQuest, WoW, and every other game that involves using pets to battle.
Or Temtem, monster Hunter stories, nexomon, monster sanctuary, coromon, monster crown, ni no kuni, ooblets, or pocket Morty’s(prob still best direct Pokémon clone) (… *goes on listing them all for next 3 hours*)

Like obvious clown farm is obvious but if anyone seriously believes nintendo has leg to stand on, like saying “HAS FROMSOFT SUED ALL THOSE DARK SOULS CLONES DEVS YET? What about epic and fortnite clones? Or Dune and every RTS games that came afterwards?”

Why should Nintendo sue? They stole many of the designs themselves. e.g. from dragon quest

Nintendo can't as they don't own the whole of Pokemon. That'd be up to TPCi. Also, it'd be an open and shut case in a loss for them.

The collect creature is a common game style and there are other game closer to a pokemon game.

Nintendo owns 1/4th of the franchise along with Gamefreak, TPCI and Creatures. But your point still stands.

did Coca Cola sued Pepsi ?

Maybe instead of reaching for lawyers, Nintendo should fill the market's needs.

They don't make the Pokemon games that people really want.

Nintendo literally sues everyone they can. Look at fan made games that have 0 income. They still get sued. Game has been in production and known about for years. Nintendo hasn't sued.

A little bit of common sense would go a long way for some of you.

Plus, at this point, they haven't even shut down Pokemon Infinite Fusion.
Which is EXPLICITLY a Pokemon rip-off.

If they ain't even touching that one, they're not even close to touching this.
(Besides, they're already kinda on thin ice from that whole Joycon Drift issue and lawsuit, as it is)

So if I make an animated movie called Spooderman about a guy in a red/black suit fighting crime and villains, I can monetize it? Cool. Any similarity to Spiderman is purely coincidental.
unironically you might get away with that actually. remember that Atlantic Rim exists. and transmorphers. and dozens of other low effort crap that exists to try to confuse out of touch old people into buying the wrong movie for their grandkids.
