Human pals can't breed with normal pals?

I captured a poacher I found and put him in the breeding pen with some other pals, but none of them will breed with this human pal.

Am I doing something wrong?

Yeah. Happened by accident too. You can capture other human NPCs as well.

yes you can capture any humans, including the merchants, but you can't breed them like pals

You cant even force them into a role like say sandbag defense. I figured man with gun would be perfect for sentry duty but because you cant lift you cant assign unless I missed something.

I feel they need to change that. They should be allowed to use their gun at least.. I taught my Syndicate Ice Missile.. but he won't use it...what a waste!
