the game using AI art is fake news.
stop believing everything people say on twitter. yall are the reason the quote "don't believe everything on the internet" exists. just cause the dev mentioned something about AI art years ago doesn't mean he is actively using it in his games.

This whole argument is also an example of occam's razor. Yall look too far into things and try to make it more complicated instead of keeping it simple. The most simple answer is they probably aren't scamming us using AI.

Who even cares if its using AI to make art.
All i care about is if the games fun.
The whole argument is pointless, because it literally doesn't matter if the game is using AI art or not. Whichever way it is, it has precisely ZERO impact on how good the game it is or how it plays. It only matters to some freaks on social media who spin it for nothing else but pointless drama.

We could just ignore this bait and move on to discuss more important and interesting things.

artists, maybe ? Stop thinking only about your little ass

Artist doomed theirselves for no taking seriously the AI threat, now whatever cheapGPT AI can "learn" any artist style and remplace them.

It is awful? indeed it is, but is already to late to do something about it.

Thank you for sharing this. It's a really interesting history of Palworld's development.

Why are artists more important than the blue collar workers ♥♥♥♥♥♥ over by automation?

Same here, I don't care how the game is made as long as its fun, and Palworld is fun.
I've seen this ai talk so much over the past day.
I don't care how the game is made either. Unfortunately, Palworld is both made using lazy tactics AND isn't fun. RIP.

we took it seriously tho ? Tech bros are a tumor for us since the NFT era, but what can we do against it aside from trying to push for laws and use Glaze/Nighshade to poison our art ?
Game developers are free to choose whatever they want to use as long as it's not deliberate theft of assets and more.

The use of AI in game development is inevitable. It really just depends on what they use AI for in game development. A lot of developers are going to be using it for writing and other minor things. I mean, AI isn't really in a state where it can do much without human input and certainly not in a place where it can make accurate art at the same level as human artists.

AI is still in it's infancy and will remain so for quite some time.
Could AI be used to create convincing unique models and animations for every single Pal? That seems a bit beyond.

Nah it can't. AI isn't 'potty trained' yet to the point where it can create 3D models, rig them and animate them. That's still gonna take at least another decade or two.

Think of the current AI as an infant, still trying to learn how to crawl.

Most computer art designers are pink haired liberals anyways. Good riddance. Let's go AI. Replace writers next.
So you think people should be replaced by AI because you don't like that they dye their hair and vote differently from you? And yet you have the nerve to call THEM the sensitive snowflakes?

Grow up and change as a person, maybe you'll develop a personality beyond being offended by liberals.
This game isn't using A.I art because Steam requires Developers to state if they used A.I in creating a game.

I beg to differ:
