Help With Enough Food.

I went from 2k berries to less than 100 in about a day. I kept 2 berry plantations, but suddenly noticed less berries produced. I have a level 3 water pal, level 3 farming pal, and a few that can harvest, so I don't know why there's suddenly less berries.
Should I grow other food as well? How many pals should I have dedicated to the task?

I am not struggling for food. I got Chickipi laying eggs, and between two berry plantations, food seems readily avaliable. are your Pals set to dedicated posts at the plantations? if they are in free work mode, they may not attend to them

Chances are you added higher level pals. They have a "food bar" that tells you how much they consume. Youll notice a lot of the higher end guys have a much higher food consumption rate. Either its that, or, your gatherers just arent gathering.

I don't know what it was but I think I solved it. I just replaced the higher level jobs with the grass squirrels instead. Which is weird. The level 3 farmer was rarely at the post, compared to the squirrels that are actively there. Same for a level 3 water one. I constantly tried to move them to the correct post and they'd often leave. But now I'm gaining food again.
