So what's up with the Giant Tree?

I tried to check it out using one of the Water Pals you can ride on.
It seems like there's an invisible wall that blocks you from the upper 1/3 of the map.

I know there isn't much for lore/story, but is anything mentioned in the game about what that giant tree is?

It's more then likely future content. Maybe a rare spawn pal they've yet to finish will be there, or something story based. Could be a couple of things.
Leaves for some excitement for future updates.

When you start the game it tells you to explore the towers and the tree, I assume there will be an update or maybe a DLC

Is that true? I thought I saw a giant sea monster out in the fog off shore, but it definitely wasn't the tree. I just assumed I was going mad with fatigue.

in the start it says tower are the key the tree is the truth , i dont think its a dlc i think its being blocked because the towers the towers have to be completed first.

yah. i think its going to be part of the main story. tree turtle is the truth.

barrier is still there, even after you defeat all the bosses. i checked. its probably gonna be an update, that'll include a final boss and an actual ending.
