Steam points are fine, its allowing the awards to give them to who recieved the award thats the problem.

They have said they were planning on releasing a road map shortly after launch. I suspect the reason being they didn't know how well or poorly the game was going to sell and didn't want to over promise. I think it's probably safe to say now that they don't even know what their road map is going to look like now because the game sold much better than they were anticipating. So they are likely re-evaluating their production strategy and exploring options on how they can expand. They are also likely trying to parse the massive amount of community feed back to figure out where they should be prioritizing their effort.
