Where do you build the grappling hook?

You need the more advanced workbench. Think it's called High tech workbench.

ahh ok, i only have the high quality bench

bit daft you can unlock it now but still need X amount of levels before you can use it

Don't need the high tech bench, you can build it on the primitive work bench. So if you deleted the primitive one just rebuild it and you can build the grapple gun. Not sure why the high end one can't build it but for some reason they didn't add it to that one.

For the first level grapple gun you only need the primitive one, the improved one you def need the weapon work bench.
