xbox players don't come to the servers?

Hello :) I myself play on the PC and can access the servers provided... my friend, however, plays on Xbox and he only sees "single player" and the option for invitation via code... is that a bug or what going on there? I wanted to start with him but it doesn't work...

Xbox PC/Console can only play together, and neither one has servers to play on. It's just single player and co-op by invite, up to 3 other players, within the Xbox ecosystem.

only xbox and gamepass can play together as they are on v0.1 and we are on v0.1.2 there game is very outdated doesnt have dlss support lacking key feature and qol. it calls player450 for example instead of being able to chose your name. Xbox/pass only has p2p multiplayer while steam has dedicated server.

In short they are months behind and it requires a lot of work from the devs on a platform where there is almost no money. they are likely to invest more in the steam version instead.
If you want to play with your friend login to gamepass or get a cheap trail version from g 2 a

I don't know much about cross-platform, but isn't it possible to just take the steam version and throw it into the xbox version? What is the problem with making a local connection between steam and the ixbox, or EVEN MORE SO on a dedicated server. Is the steam and xbox client different even on the same versions?
