How is it for single player mode?

It's pretty good. With all your Pals helping you fight and do work it will not feel like you're playing alone. Also even if you'd play multiplayer, you would most likely still do a lot of things solo regardless.

Its solid. I have started on a few busy servers and honestly? Preferring to play SP now. B/c it gets too busy and its harder to find stuff, alone, its chill.

SP is very solid, I actually prefer it to MP.
SP and MP plays the exact same way and there is no PVP so unless your playing with your buds your experience will probably me better in SP.

single player has been good for me, my world is open to multi if i want to invite a friend but ive been on my own and enjoying it.

Like most other survival crafting games it's much more fun with others but it's extremely entertaining still in single player. The Pals help that tremendously.

SP is perfect for this game. You can AFK as there is no Pause available. You can play at whatever pace you want and as soon as you understand some of the mechanics of the game there is not even that much grinding envolved in general. Sure switching to Gunpowder is a major shift and takes a lot of effort but no big deal so far. Bosses are doable both roaming and tower.
