You probably can take less time finding one in the wild and turning them into a pinball.
There's much better ways to get rid of unwanted pals. Its just weird.
If you're doing it after a capture, in the wild with a free slot, its fine. But the way most people will experience it is the way above.
very useful imo
Catch a Jetdragon (or 3 - custom settings) to try for the legendary rocket launcher schematic
Capture Jetdragon - % drop
Butcher - another attempt
And as noted above it doubles chance of extra mats on pals you do not want with passives u do not need
As legendary drop schematics are such a low percentage rate of dropping - it is actually quite helpful in this scenario
so instead you want to spend a whole ass minute flying to a black market location, scroll all the way through the box to sell pals for money that is basically worthless, and won't let you buy the schematics that would be your only reason to farm legendarily.
it's almost like you don't even know how end game palworld works.
capture alpha pal, same odds pluse a really big and powerful pal to use
slaughter captured alpha pal, another 3% roll after the capture one.
its double rolls on the creatures loot table.
now if your jsut running around slaughtering for meat, it might just be easier to kill most things that are weaker rather than capture. but if your trying to find legendary equipment, you should be capturing and slaughtering. it certainly isnt a waste of points. technically nothing is sine you an get more by grinding dungeons and such.
My workplace have higher expectations than amazon.
Have you caught them but realised they have terrible traits?
Has this game awakened your inner dictator, where you see cute fluffy creatures as nothing but morsels for your own personal advancement?
Have you ever been slightly hungry?
