Over 1 million concurrent players?
I can't think of any game that had this many concurrent players at one time (when I actually looked). Regardless, how is this game? Better than Ark or Conan Ex?

BG3, Cyberpunk and a few others had over 1 m concurrent. Yes, the game is better than ark and conan. It has a TON of content for 27 bucks.

The answer probably is: Hey the game is new, it has a bunch of potential, and another excuse being "Its early access" wich basically every game is at this point. and judging by how the game looks? it looks terrible, it doesnt look like 40 50 bucks, it looks more like a 20 bucks game if im honest, its not better than Ark, or Conan Ex, Or Rust or any other game for that matter, but people are being so defensive over this game, im seriously curious on, what this seemingly way too easy game makes it so worth it
Sorry, 30 bucks, it still looks like a 20 bucks game rather than a 30 bucks game

idk about better then ark .... less glitchy but ark was quite deep ... you would have to just compare it to the island

There are more expensive games that have less content than this game.

It's actually insane how successful this game is for an indy, $30.00 early access game.
It absolutely stomped AAA titles...

play it and you will understand. i also looked at this game and asked why are people playing this. first 10 minutes i thought it looked and played horribly but then i played a bit more and was hooked.

If we are going to be fair with comparisons, then we should focus on launch comparisons. In those regards, it's way better than ark and miles better than conan. Now, with the years of content those two games have had, as well as bug fixes/optimizations? I'd say no, it's not quite there yet.

If a game is already, not good within the first 10 minutes, its not a good quallity game, and i definetly have better things to spend 30 bucks on than on a game that i looked into, and compare it to other games that, atleast in my opinion, do things better to some capacity, Difficulty being one of them
hi friends Jan 21, 2024 @ 9:45am
Better than ark? No. Worse than it? no...

honestly, with ark you can practically do some silly thing like rush with mass amount of zerglin- i mean tinysaurus, which you can't do on palworld. but you can't force them to work like slave in ark either. each has its own good thing

PubG had 3.2mil concurrent players on Steam. The hype was unreal. I don't think it's a record that will ever be beaten in my lifetime.

Defending Ark is kinda showing how low some people's standards are.

-Resource gathering, either yourself or semi-automated through Pals
-Travel around the lands, enjoying the scenery
-Building multiple bases that either all do and look the same, or have them specialized and transfer needed resources to one or the other
-Boss battles
-100+ Pals to capture, level up and partially customize
-Playing alone or socially with others
-Crafting dozens of items and a few weapons to boot

Then there's Starfield... $70..and terrible
