Suggestion: ON/OFF auto pick up

I would have a suggestion and a request to add a toggle switch for automatically collecting items from the ground.
The raid destroyed my village and I can't take a single step without dropping something from my inventory. It's very frustrating and annoying especially if there's a ton of items on the ground.

Agreed, its annoying to run into a wood/stone pile and instantly becoming overencumbered because it was too many.

Couldn't find the option for this and Google led me here. This really needs to be an option. Just tried to fight Jetragon with a rocket launcher and became overencumbered 3 times from picking up random stone and ore that dropped from nearby deposits. I took too much damage in the time it took me to discard that i had to flee

Thankfully, just editing the .ini file to =0 works

There's a setting in the game for something like this, not sure if it was there when OP posted it but it's there now.
You can toggle off picking up items if it will bring you over your weight limit. It's under Options > Game Settings > Common > Do not pick up items over the weight limit ON/OFF
