Any way to enable mouse button rebinds?
Just wondering if there is a way to rebind the side mouse buttons? If you go into controller settings and try to reassign keys it tells you "That button isn't allowed" if you try to rebind anything to a side mouse button.

I'd love to be able to use the buttons on the side of my mouse.

I hate having to press ctrl to dodge lol, it's so easy and much quicker to bind a side mouse button to that!

Being unable to rebind half the keys and buttons in the game is literally the reason why I stopped playing.

Dodging with CTRL, not being able to rebind F and B keys, and other keys being hard coded makes it feel like I am playing the game with my feet.

Until they open up for full customization of all functions, keys and buttons in the game my play time is going to be minimal.

Me and my girl just purchased yesterday and played for 6.8 hours straight! I haven't done that in a very long time with any video game. Not being able to rebind keys is seriously my only complaint with this game so far.

Haven't used it in years. Is it as simple as just launching auto hotkey and telling it that when I press my side mouse button it's the same as pressing ctrl? If that's all I gotta do I'll download that now!

Thank you!

it is still the same just rebind whatever you want on whatever you want just by telling "when i push this, send this"
If you have a gaming mouse of any kind you can almost certainly just rebind the mouse buttons to keyboard keys in it's software. I bound my mouse 4 to delete and mouse 5 to end and then bound crouch and roll to those buttons respectively.

It IS lame you have to go out of game to set that up though. No reason they can't just let you rebind everything.

I don't see anything that simple on there. I see "New Script". Does that mean I got to type out a small line of code to get it to work?

They 100% need to fix and allow rebinding.

I wanna use my right side of the keyboard for most of the binds. Why don’t they let us use our numberpad ect? Please fix and make it allowed, wanna enjoy the game a loooooot

You make a script in autohotkey, in the manner of say:

RCtrl::C
RShift::Space
XButton1::LCtrl

I.e, the key you want to use :: what key in game it will be.
(XButton1 is mouse button 4)

Autohotkey has a list for what all keys and mousebuttons are called.
