Farming Normal Tech points

Im currently at lvl 50 witch seems to be the max level but i havent unlocked all normal tech yet. Though ik things like those tech books exist that give you tech points. anyone know a good way to farm those?

The small nocturnal bird pals, im not playing actively rn or I'd bring up their names, drop them. Think they'd be your best bet.

You can get manuals from the giant jagged looking island made of metal to the middle south (seems to be some kind of reserve? You get trespassing alerts if the guards see you on it).
They spawn in chests there.

I am currently killing some cawgnitos..they dont seem to drop em so it could be a rare drop (though admitably i only killed a view right now)

And yes i have been to that Wildlife reserve and it does have books in em. so it may truly be the best bet there.

I do remember getting a golden book that gave me 3 tech points from i think a dungeon in the snowy biome with the tall mountain, where the pal genetic research guys are, Though idk if thats efficient and agian not surtand

Small update to this. it wasent cawgnito its hoocrates, surtand other pals that alos drop them are wixen and katress
