Crafting
Hello,
a question regarding crafting. I have different PALS with the "manual work" capability, but he never makes arrows or anything else in the workshop. On the other hand, if I launch a construction they will immediately do it. I don't understand why he doesn't make arrows? Is it because of the farm, the quarry, the sawmill? Thank you in advance for your help.

Building is a separate stat from making items such as arrows. Does your pal have the hand work trait (A hand) or just the building trait (A hammer)?

Have you tried lifting the pal and putting them by the crafting table cause i think that should work

There seems to be problems with crafting tables, at least with the advanced ones. None of my pals recognizes it, and manually throwing them next to it also says that "no work detected, resuming automatic mode". It does work sometimes, like every 10th throw, but then they craft there until feed/sleep time and then never returns

I have monkeys and sheep as my main PALS. They have "the hand", it seems to me that it is for manual work

The priorities for Pals are different for each. Typically what I do is if I have a big crafting order (such as arrows), I'll have my best crafting pal in my party. Go to the workbench you need crafting at and throw the Pal at the workbench. Your pal will now focus this task and will not leave it, even if it gets hungry.

From what I've gathered, Pals Prioritize Construction first. Anything new placed will be built immediately if the Pal can assist in the task.

Second is Loading. A pal will load its work into a task so that a task can than begin progression, primary example being Farming. If you have a Lifmunk, a farm that needs seeds, and a log farm, The Lifmunk will focus the Loading task of seeding the farm first and then hitting the log farm. When the farm is finished growing, the Lifmunk will harvest and then seed again, then go back to logging.

Third is Passive work. Pretty self explanatory, logging, quarry, etc.

Fourth and I believe the final is crafting. If there are no other tasks, the crafting tasks will then be worked on. Finding Pals (i.e. a couple humans maybe) can bypass most of this because the only thing they have is Handiwork. So naturally the only thing they would do is craft.

Ok, that’s very clear, thank you for your message. Too bad we can't prioritize the tasks.
