But Karma will see my house burnt down tomorrow.
Well Foxpark's Paldeck entry does say it can't control it's fire very well, so instead of hitting the enemy it was aiming at, it hit my house instead, fortunately just unlocked the stone walls and foundations, so I can fireproof the outside of my house.
It was just a big box anyway, the roofing is a bit of an issue at the moment, the new house allowed me to figure that out, so it's less of a box this time.
I didnt actually realize wood structures COULD burn down. I'm only using a couple at my base for aesthetic thankfully.
I think i should change that.
None of our water pals wanted to save the house. Rest in piece(s) old wood house. Excuse enough to build a stone one though. It all worked out in the end lmao
Yep, I learned that the hard way, and fire spreads very quickly, and when I say entire house, I literally mean the entire house burned down, crates, work benches, pal beds etc all get destroyed due to having no floor to support them.
You do get back materials, but it can be a very lengthy rebuild, and now I have access to stone walls and foundations I'll be replacing the wood ones ASAP, cause I don't want Foxpark burning down my rebuilt house again.
I know it was my Foxpark because it was the only fire Pal around ally and enemy, but Foxpark is my favourite Pal, as been since the Paldeck video that showed it can be used as a living Flamethrower was released, I intend to have it in every base I build.
Stone is definitely the way to go, thought my problem is my house is two story, bottom floor where my Pals sleep and feed, I only use small Pals so bottom floor doesn't need to be big, first floor is my living area with my work benches and bed.
If I carelessly knock down the ground floor walls I could knock down and destroy things above and rebuilding is a pain, especially with how easy it is to become over encumbered.
