Entire house burned down
This is no means a complaint, yesterday while playing Palworld, a raid occurred on my base, during that raid my three story house caught on fire, most likely caused by my Foxpark, missing it's attack on an enemy and hitting my house, such a cutie, I love Foxpark.

The entire house burned in seconds, I was in disbelief but also in awe,, thankfully playing DayZ as made me numb to losing everything, plus it gave me a chance to build a better looking house.

Again this is not a complaint, it's a story I wanted to share because I love this game, this game as rekindled my love for video games, I get so immersed playing it I forget I'm playing a video game with this game and to me those how games should be.

And here I am getting raided by the Pyre Lords who have been throwing flamethrowers around four hours, and my wooden house gives no ♥♥♥♥♥ whatsoever...

But Karma will see my house burnt down tomorrow.

Well Foxpark's Paldeck entry does say it can't control it's fire very well, so instead of hitting the enemy it was aiming at, it hit my house instead, fortunately just unlocked the stone walls and foundations, so I can fireproof the outside of my house.

It was just a big box anyway, the roofing is a bit of an issue at the moment, the new house allowed me to figure that out, so it's less of a box this time.

FINALLY a topic actually taking about the game.

I didnt actually realize wood structures COULD burn down. I'm only using a couple at my base for aesthetic thankfully.

had to give you a wholesome award for that, cause it truly is lol

Maybe i shouldnt let the Foxthing cook eggs on the second floor of my wood house on a open camp fire.

I think i should change that.

Had a similar thing happen to me and my group...except there were no enemies and though the cookpots were right outside and plenty of fire being directed towards the house for a whole 24 irl hours (give or take)....no on-fire house. Until I wanted to hatch a large smoldering egg...then the front door caught fire (a good 2 foundations away from where i was standing).

None of our water pals wanted to save the house. Rest in piece(s) old wood house. Excuse enough to build a stone one though. It all worked out in the end lmao

I did not know that could happen, had a raid, many people ran into my house my foxspark followed them and and let um have it and there isn't any damage done to the house. But i suppose i should upgrade to stone asap just in case.

Yep, I learned that the hard way, and fire spreads very quickly, and when I say entire house, I literally mean the entire house burned down, crates, work benches, pal beds etc all get destroyed due to having no floor to support them.

You do get back materials, but it can be a very lengthy rebuild, and now I have access to stone walls and foundations I'll be replacing the wood ones ASAP, cause I don't want Foxpark burning down my rebuilt house again.

I know it was my Foxpark because it was the only fire Pal around ally and enemy, but Foxpark is my favourite Pal, as been since the Paldeck video that showed it can be used as a living Flamethrower was released, I intend to have it in every base I build.

This just happened to me last night during a raid. I suspect it may have been my Bushi who caused it because I've had a foxpark at my base through many raids and this didn't happen (or maybe I was just lucky until now). Had all my storage and crafting benches in my base, so the ground is now littered with absolutely everything. Half my defensive walls also burned down. Oh well, I was wanting to rebuild the base using stone now anyway, that should help. Knowing that this can happen, my advice to others would be to not have all your storage and crafting tables inside a wooden house.

Stone is definitely the way to go, thought my problem is my house is two story, bottom floor where my Pals sleep and feed, I only use small Pals so bottom floor doesn't need to be big, first floor is my living area with my work benches and bed.

If I carelessly knock down the ground floor walls I could knock down and destroy things above and rebuilding is a pain, especially with how easy it is to become over encumbered.

This happened to me and my friends yesterday. We built the entire base on those wooden platforms so once one lit on fire it was very fast for the rest to be destroyed. Was a bit sad but now we have a reason to put the base in a better location
