buy on steam or use gamepass?

I use gamepass, but now I'm trying to moving to steam because the XBOX Gamepass always late update like 3 - 7 days for the new update.

if your buying from the steam or xbox store probably steam as it's on the later build

The Gamepass version is on console so it's two patches behind. The version here on Steam is always up to date.

GP currently using older version compared to Steam, so at the moment it’s better to get Steam version

I was on gamepass, then I decided to move to steam, because it's a couple of versions ahead, and has DLSS and the likes. Don't have to wait for console certification on steam for new patches either.
Got my save games transferred over and all is good.

Game pass uses older code and only the Steam version can create dedicated servers (32 players compared to 4 and mod support). If that matters to you the Steam version is a better fit.
