Flashing build icon bug
Hello has anyone come across a bug where the build icon keeps flashing (when a new item is buildable) but when I open the build menu there's nothing new to craft for me. I tried respawning and restarting my game but it's still stuck

Same thing is happening to me, unsure what caused it happen but leveling up and getting new builds also didn't seem to help.

I found out what caused it for me it was the curtain furniture upgrade that causes this bug

Is there a way to make it go away?

If this happened to you recently just use an older save from the backups the game has. Go to C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\Pal\Saved\SaveGames, open the right hash folder for the character you're using then check the backup folder inside for the older save (before you unlocked the curtain tech) and just copy the data from both the local and world folder back to the main hash folder (overwriting your current bugged save)

I saw the game bug page that said where to go for save files, only I don't have these folders. I go to my C:\ysers then my username and there is no AppData file. I even did just a search on my computer and the folders don't show up. Any help would be appreciated. I want to backup my save file in case a bug happens to me.

I went back to a previous save, but the button continues to flash, even though this was well before I encountered the bug.

I know absolutely nothing about how any of the data is stored or how it works, but maybe the notification info is tied to something that isn't being overwritten when rolling back a save? (Like the "LocalData.sav" file?)

hmm maybe you're right. I actually started over because it was annoying as hell for me lmao. I guess we either have to wait for them to fix it or maybe add some UI options to hide the build icon and stuff

Happened to me after unlocking the "Antique High Quality Furniture Set". Rolling back to earlier save fixed it.

is there any way to fix it without going back to an older save? i didn't notice that it was bugged for quite a while so i really don't wanna have to re-do everything if it can be helped
