A process has crashed: UE-Pal

Since this morning, I have been experiencing crashes. I purchased the game today and attempted to create a single-player world. However, I can't progress beyond the character creation screen because the game keeps crashing. Does anyone know why?

Yesterday, I noticed the same problem with another games, what is very strange. In an attempt to resolve it, I restored my PC to a system restore point from January 10th. This action fixed the issue, and Palworld is now running smoothly. However, I can't pinpoint the exact cause of the problem yet.

Same. I just signed up for steam and bought this game. Been trying for hours and I can't get past the character creation screen. Keeps crashing. Guess I wasted my money with steam.

Same. Ended up turning off multiplayer and it started working again. Hope it helps.

when you turn off multiplayer does it get rid of your friends guilds and stuff?

i am having this same issue, over an hour trying to just login and play the game but crashes at character creation every time

guys try to disable geforce replay (alt+z default)this is completely solved problem for me (Same as Baldur's Gate 3)

I believe Palworld might not run smoothly with your current graphics card since the minimum recommendation is a GTX 1050. However, due to frequent crashes, it's challenging to determine if the issue lies with your card or another unknown factor.
