Can I play this solo/offline?

As the title says. I haven't bought the game yet. I am waiting for it to exit early access (wishful thinking these days lol) or at least for the bugs to be polished out. Even so, the first thing I want to know is can I play this completely offline?

Not sure about offline, but you can play solo, yes.

Yes you can play offline. You do not need internet to play this.

Yes, that's waht I am doing. I generally dislike MP games, and this is perfectly playable solo and I am enjoying this game so far. Unless some balancing things chnages during development, then it wors well solo

Yes you can do solo, that's what I do. Also you can set your world to offline only when you first create it. I'm not sure if you can change that option once it's made.

i do not know if you can play without it connected, though

i tried and it said no

could be something i need to tweak

you can change that or any of the words settings whenever you like, before you load the world of course.

I've just tested the game offline and it will let you load your saved game and play, though it will show some error messages at the startup about not being connected to the servers.

Offline does indeed work. I lost internet last night while I was playing and nothing happened to my playsession.

this game is 100% awesome with solo/offline right now. I just hit level 33 and it's so fun
